Online Coaching Packages
Head Triathlon Coach – Pam Nichol

Individual Online Coaching is offered to build your specific, customized training plan. Each time you log your workout and nutrition on Training Peaks, we are able to track your progress. At the end of each week your workout performance is evaluated, and new workouts are assigned for the following week. As an Individual Online client you also can participate in all SBR Coaching Triathlon Team Group workouts for FREE!

Workouts: If you would like to work out with me on a regular basis, in addition to online coaching, you have a few options:

  • Online Coaching + Workout option (see below). This allows me to implement testing, analyze swim stroke, teach running drills, and cycling skills, depending on your individual needs.
  • FREE Group Workouts in various Orange County Locations

Ironman/Half Ironman Online Coaching –$200-month (6 month minimum for Half and 9-month minimum for Full.) SBR Training Pass Members pay JUST $180 per month, plus SAVE $50 for 3-months payment and $100 for 6-month payment!

  • Initial Consultation to establish goals, races, plans
  • Personalized training plan customized to you through Training Peaks on-line
  • Train for any races you like, including cycling only and running only races!
  • Unlimited Phone, text & email support
  • Workouts loaded every week
  • Feedback when you load and comment on your workouts
  • FREE Participation in ALL SBR Coaching Group Training
  • Premium Training Peaks membership required
  • 3-month minimum , first and last month payments due upon sign up
  • 30-day notice to hold or cancel

*Athlete is responsible for guest/entry fees to facilities or parks

Professional Services Provided for Cyclists
Mike McKinney –  Cycling Coach

Bike Fits – Static fit for comfort and efficiency – Approximately 1.5 hours – $120

  • Body Measurements
  • Saddle Adjustment
  • Stem & Bar Adjustment
  • Leg/Torso/Arm/Elbow Adjustment
  • Cleat Placement

Cycling Fitness & Functional Threshold Assessment – 1.5 Hours – $120

  • Assessment of current fitness based on prior training
  • Perform a Functional Threshold Test
  • Establish realistic Heart Rate and/or Power Training Zones

Minor Bike Tune-Up – Approximately 1.0 hour – $80

  • Clean Bike
  • Check all cabling
  • Adjust Front/Rear Derailleurs
  • Clean and inspect drivetrain (Chain, Cassette and Chainring)
  • Clean and Inspect Tires, Rims and Spokes
  • Tighten all fittings
  • Test Ride

Bicycle Acquisition based on type, ability and anticipated use – Professional Consultation Rate $ 80 per hour – $ 350 for a 5-hour block

  • Body Measurements to determine accurate bike size and geometry
  • Componentry Selection – Shifters, Brakes, Crank, Pedals, Wheels, bars, etc
  • Frame Material considerations
  • Manual or Electronic shifting
  • Bicycle search with or without assistance
  • Bicycle Fit

Fundamental Cycling Skills Training – Professional Consultation Rate $ 80 per hour

  • Shifting/Gearing/Braking
  • Cornering/Turning
  • Climbing/Descending
  • Efficient Pedaling
  • Cycling Posture
